Jack Colletti, Dan Davis, and Aruna Endabetla present StockCastr - where “American Idol” meets Jim Cramer.
The simple idea here is to give the at-home amateur a platform to provide rich video and data content around stocks and investments that they believe in and want others to access. In essence, this allows anyone to create their own “Mad Money”, and be their own Jim Cramer. They are riding the great user generated content (UGC) wave.
Good idea, but how defensible is it? WallStrip is doing something close, but it lacks some rich tools to really let at-home stock junkies show off their picks. I wish them well on their launch!
